Residential Group Homes for Girls

♦ Three residential group homes serving up to 28 children between the ages of 0 to18, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
♦ Safe, stable environments for neglected, abused and abandoned children.
♦ Consists of three “family style” environments for pregnant teens and teen mothers with their children.
♦ Independent living and financial literacy skills offered for     transitioning to adulthood.
♦ Approved program for Doctoral Psychology Intern candidates to assess and address the multiple needs of the girls and to train staff.

 

Recovery from Homelessness

♦ Assistance and housing for at-risk families to recover from homelessness for up to 2 years.
♦ Education, job readiness, independent living and life skills are provided for adults.
♦ A variety of activities to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the children.
♦ Matches families with church volunteer teams for added support.
♦ 85% of those families graduating from The Bridge remain self-sufficient.

♦ Located in the heart of South Mountain Village area since 1991.
♦ Equipped with Pre School for children ages 2 – 5, prepares them for Kindergarten and is DES licensed and certified.
♦ After School Program for K – 6th graders with computer interactive learning activities and The AWANAS Christian based curriculum.
♦ The Youth Development Program serves at-risk and adjudicated youth between the ages of 14 – 21 with case management services, supportive services, life skills training, leadership development, paid and unpaid work experience and referrals to community resources.
♦ Family resources such as GED Prep classes, computer skills training, parenting and financial literacy offered to strengthen the community.
♦ Collaborations with other agencies and resources to assist families and individuals.

♦ Before and after school care for children located on nine elementary campuses of the Pendergast School District in west Phoenix.
♦ Gives hope and positive change to families with multiple needs by offering parent support groups, ESL classes, crisis counseling, tutoring and community service referrals.
♦ Serves over 4,000 individuals per year.
♦ Annual Family Camp each summer that promotes self-esteem, raises social skills and encourages quality time for families.
