Become a Foster Parent
Posted 01/19/2011 by Childhelp
While by now you probably know about Childhelp’s advocacy centers and group home programs, did you know that Childhelp is licensed to recruit, screen, train, and certify foster care parents?
Childhelp is committed to helping the community get involved in caring for children who are victims of abuse or neglect, and many times, those children’s needs extend beyond their initial stay at a village or their weekly therapy sessions.
What they really need, is a family.
Childhelp has faster care services in Southern California, Michigan and Tennessee which provide short and long-term therapeutic foster care to abused and neglected children. Foster families provide the caring and safe environment these children need to continue their development and emotional healing.
After the initial placement, Childhelp also provides ongoing support to both foster parents and the children in their care.
While this program is relatively new, the need is not, and there are many children in need of a loving home. If you feel the call or desire to help one of these children by welcoming them into your home and family, do something about it today. Visit Childhelp Foster Care Agencies to learn more about the agency in your area and to see if adoption or foster care is a fit for your family.blog comments powered by Disqus
