Child Abuse and The Economy

I have mentioned a few times in this blog how we are concerned here at Childhelp about the increased risks to children as the economy worsens (see here for more).

In a radio interview yesterday on local Arizona news station 91.5 FM, they discussed that the substantiated child abuse and neglect court cases in Arizona are up 53% over the previous year.

This is a compelling reason to support agencies like Childhelp's Advocacy Centers, which streamline the judicial process and save the courts/taxpayers time/money.
