eBay Giving Works for Childhelp
Posted 04/29/2011 by Childhelp
eBay connects a diverse and passionate community of individual buyers and sellers. Their collective impact on e-commerce is staggering, but their commitment to charitable giving is truly remarkable. eBay Giving Works was established to offer buyers, sellers, and donors a convenient and trusted way to give to their favorite charity. There are many ways to give:
- Buyers – Click here to view a list of items being sold to benefit Childhelp. 10% of the final purchase price of each item will go directly to Childhelp.
- Sellers – When you list an item on eBay, select Childhelp to benefit and also the percentage you would like to donate. Your listing will be identified by a blue and yellow ribbon which will attract buyers and benefit from enhanced searchability. eBay Giving Works listings tend to attract more bids and end in a higher final sales price.
- Donors – Any eBay member with a PayPal account can make an online cash donation through the eBay Giving Works Donate Now program. During checkout, you may choose to make a one-time cash donation to Childhelp. Your donation will be automatically deducted from your PayPal account. If you don’t see anything you like, you may also make a cash donation without having to purchase an item. Click here to donate now.
