Giving Back This Holiday Season

Are you looking for a way to give back this holiday season?  Childhelp’s mission is to meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children.  Check out the following ways that you can support Childhelp’s efforts around the nation:

If you have one minute…

Help us spread the word!  Click here to send an email about Childhelp and its programs and services for abused and neglected children to your friends and family.  You can even post a link to your Twitter or Facebook account!

If you have $5, $10, or $15…

Download the new Jalon Watts song, “Dear Mr. Jesus” for a donation of $5-$15.  In his song, the Childhelp Celebrity Ambassador sings about a child who writes a letter to Jesus about an abuse story he sees on the news.  It is a touching depiction of abuse through the eyes of a child. Also remember a $5 donation sponsors one hotline call to the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline 1-800-4-A-CHILD.

If you have 10 minutes…

Did you experience abuse or neglect as a child?  Become an example and inspiration to others by sharing your story of rising above those experiences.  You can also click here to read about the stories of others who have overcome abuse.

If you have $15 per month…

Childhelp and its services are primarily funded by your donations.  With over 90% of its budget dedicated to its programs and direct services to children and families, Childhelp is committed to good stewardship of all of the resources entrusted.  Click here to make a monthly donation or you can make a onetime gift to support Childhelp and its programs for abused, neglected and at risk children.

If you have a few hours…

There are a lot of volunteer opportunities available at Childhelp. You can volunteer to organize donated clothing or go through your closet and bring your donations to your local center.  Click here to see what your local village or community center’s needs are.
