This Just In: Michael Bolton To Provide Entertainment at 2012 Drive The Dream Gala

Childhelp is very excited to announce that Grammy Award winner, Michael Bolton, has agreed to entertain guests at the 2012 Childhelp Drive The Dream Gala. Mr. Bolton is best known for his great success in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a singer on the adult contemporary/easy listening charts. One of his first major hits was his 1987 interpretation of the Otis Redding classic, "(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay." Always interested in soul and Motown classics, Bolton's success with that song encouraged him to tackle the standard "Georgia On My Mind," with which he had another hit. In 1991, Bolton released the album Time, Love & Tenderness which featured his Grammy Award winning cover version of "When a Man Loves a Woman".
Drive the Dream is Childhelp’s annual fundraiser and welcomes local and national celebrities as well as the Valley’s most philanthropic individuals dedicated to improving the welfare of abused children. All proceeds collected from the night benefit Childhelp’s Arizona Programs which include treatment, prevention and investigation services.
