Welcome to the New Childhelp.org!
Posted 04/07/2010 by Derrek Hofrichter
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we're proud to help kick it off by launching the brand new Childhelp.org
We want our new website to be your one-stop resource center for preventing child abuse.
In addition to a fresh new design, there are so many new features on this website that we think you will find helpful to staying engaged on the child abuse issue.
The Get Help center offers easy-to-use links that kids, parents and professionals can use if they suspect child abuse, as well as a host of other resources you can use to stay informed. For those who want to get involved, the new action center offers a central hub where users can find easy tools to sign up, donate, tell their friends about Childhelp and more.
There's a story board where you can read inspiring stories of children and families who have overcome abuse, as well as a new feature to share a story of your own. You can browse each of Childhelp's programs - by type or by location - and find unique ways you can volunteer with each one. Each of Childhelp's local chapters has a brand new home on the Web as well.
We're especially excited that this blog has been redesigned and placed on the homepage - so it will be easy for you the check in and see what's happening in the world of Childhelp.
As always, if you have any thoughts or questions about the new site - or Childhelp in general - feel free to drop us a line.
We're excited about the new site, and we hope you are too. Come back soon!
