Greater Los Angeles

The Greater Los Angeles Chapter was formed in 1964 and is the first of the now many chapters that have grown up around the country. Los Angeles was the home of Sara O'Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, the Childhelp Founders. In fact, they are still on our membership roster, along with a good number of their friends who were around when Childhelp began.

We are an active and growing group dedicated to working to help the children at the Village and to furthering the programs that are being implemented nationwide. In addition to fund-raising efforts, we work to contribute to holiday parties, birthdays and fun events that occur at the Childhelp Merv Griffin Village in Beaumont, CA. Our chief interest is making sure that Childhelp and its many vital programs are strong, and that we help in any waywe can.

Our meetings are the second Thursday of the month for lunch from 10:30-1:30 at rotating locations, and the following Tuesday evening at 7:30 at our Hollywood office.

We are very happy to welcome new members.
