National Child Abuse Hotline Poster Campaign
Saving lives since 1982, the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline receives more than 200,000 crisis calls each year. The hotline delivers hope and help to 500 people each day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and in over 170 languages! Sadly, many children who are suffering abuse are not even aware that the hotline exists, that there is help or how to get that help.
It takes $5 to fund each call to the hotline, ensuring that it is staffed around the clock with professional and experienced crisis counselors.
Childhelp Wings is dedicated to making sure that the hotline poster is posted everywhere that a child may see it so that all children know that someone cares, and how to get the help that they need. This is also a great way for us to spread awareness about the issues of child abuse and our conviction to end this national epidemic.
How can you help?
During the month of September, print out the poster and ask that it be displayed in prominent locations, including:
- Your school — ask your principal or counselor if the poster can be placed in the nurse’s office or other locations
- Recreation centers
- After-school and daycare programs
- Hospitals & health care centers
- Anywhere that a child might see it

This is also a great way for to spread awareness about the issues of and types of abuse that kids face, and Childhelp's conviction to end this national epidemic.

Here’s your chance to spread awareness and have some fun!Turn your hotline poster campaign into a fundraiser for Childhelp AND win a chance to be featured on our national website!
- Request a pack of 25 posters from the Childhelp national office by emailing Lisa Evans.
- Sell each poster for $5 each, explaining that they can hang the poster where they choose, and the $5 sponsors the first call from their poster.
- Send us a picture, or post on our Facebook or Twitter what you’ve done with your poster.
