Childhelp teams up with Target to give at-risk youth new bikes.
01/07/2008
Target store manager Larry Britton heard of Childhelp co-founders Sara
O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson’s plan to give the new bicycles to the
children and wanted to get involved. “Christmas is such a special time
of year,” says O’Meara. “These children have been through a lot in their
young lives and we wanted to help make this holiday season a little
brighter for them.”
“We are extremely grateful to Larry and the
rest of the Target team for their incredible generosity in helping us
purchase new bikes for the children this Christmas season,” added
Fedderson.
Helmets for each of the children were donated by a
Childhelp chapter member.
