On Friday, February 15th, GPM Investments, LLC, which operates the Fas
Mart convenience stores, donated $20,000 to the Childhelp Alice C. Tyler
Village of Virginia. The funds were raised from its 8th Annual Golf
Outing and Auction held last fall. Dave McComas, chief executive
officer of Fas Mart, presented the check to Wade Hardman, Director of
Community Service at the Childhelp Alice C. Tyler Village of Virginia.
“A core operating principle of our company has always been to actively
support our local community,” said Dave McComas. “We are truly honored
to support these fine organizations which do so much to make a
difference in people’s lives.”
Wade Hardmann added, “Childhelp is
very grateful to Fas Mart for their generous support to our Village in
Virginia. This donation will help us to purchase a Mini-van for our
satellite group home, the Vienna House. This important program allows
the children to live in the community and still receive therapeutic
care.”
