Childhelp Chapters are vitally important to the success of our organization. Devoted and loyal Chapter members help build awareness about the epidemic of child abuse in this country through participation in a wide variety of community events, business and social gatherings and media opportunities. Childhelp Chapter members play many roles in helping the children within our care.
Members work together to plan and execute creative special events of all sizes to help support our many programs and facilities.
Members can participate as “Special Friends” and mentors to the children in our residential Villages and group homes in CA and VA.
Members help open doors in area school systems for our prevention program, Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe.
Holidays and birthdays are special times for our children, and Chapter members create memorable events that each child will remember long after leaving our care.
Members also offer material support to our residential facilities by providing clothing and personal items for the children, as well as household goods and furnishings. School supplies, toys, library books, and recreational equipment are always in demand; and Childhelp volunteers lovingly provide these items through many creative fundraising opportunities.
Members help with awareness, promoting our 24-hour crisis Hotline.
Members pay annual membership dues.
Strong leadership, loyal members and a growing membership have given Childhelp a reputation of excellence, being recognized as one of this country’s leading non-profit organizations dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse.
