ABOUT THE DAY
On Saturday, Nov. 3, Childhelp will join forces with other worldwide organizations to celebrate the inaugural All Survivors Day: an international day to both celebrate and recognize survivors of past abuse.
All Survivors Day seeks to bring survivors’ stories into the light and raise awareness of the widespread nature of this issue. Several events across the globe are scheduled to unite communities – from Paris to Los Angeles — honoring survivors from of all backgrounds and speaking out with integral support and resources.
HOW CHILDHELP WILL BE PARTICIPATING
At Childhelp, we will support survivors by standing in solidarity with fellow organizations to amplify the message of the day. Childhelp exists to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children – at the heart of our organization is a drive to provide all children and abuse survivors the ability to live a life filled with love.
If you are a survivor of abuse and need to talk, our Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) is available 24/7 and staffed with professional counselors ready to take your call. This hotline is anonymous, confidential, and our certified crisis counselors are equipped to provide resources as necessary.
HOW YOU CAN JOIN THE MOVEMENT
Join the cause on Nov. 3 using #AllSurvivorsDay in your social media posts and tagging @Childhelp and other participating organizations. By standing together and lifting up survivors, we can help end child abuse – all abuse – once and for all.
