Gift of Adoption, a national charitable organization that inspires adoption by providing grants to qualified parents, will hold Gift or Treat – the Tennessee chapter’s inaugural fundraising event as a launch to a month-long giving campaign for National Adoption Month, honored each November. All net proceeds from the family friendly event will go directly to help a vulnerable child adopted into a stable, loving home in Tennessee.
Special guest Erica Page White will be on hand to share her own adoption story. The actress and adoption advocate, who recently starred on the reality series, “Private Lives of Nashville Wives,” was adopted as a newborn.
At Gift or Treat, guests of all ages will enjoy a evening of family fun, including games, raffles, auction prizes, wine pull and more. Complimentary food, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the event.
The event will be Oct. 29 from 6-9 p.m. at The Building at 1008C Woodland St. in Nashville. Tickets are $25 for individuals and $75 for families. A 10-percent discount is available to all active-duty and retired military personnel and their families.
Tickets will be available at the door or at giftofadoption.org/giftortreat.html
Gift of Adoption is a national charitable organization that inspires adoption by providing grants to qualified parents – giving children who need families a permanent home and a chance to thrive. It relies on the support of people who want their donations to help transform the life of a child. Founded in 1996, Gift of Adoption awards grants without regard to race, religion, age or marital status to provide the last funds needed to complete the adoption process.
