Savannah Harrelson is a Public Relations Manager at Childhelp, executing local, regional and national media relations efforts. Prior to her role at Childhelp, she served as a publicist at SparkPoint Studio. In that position, she spearheaded public relations and communications campaigns for authors in preparation for new book releases.
Harrelson graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Barrett, the Honors College with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication and emphases in public relations and nonprofit leadership. She completed public relations internships at GateWay Community College, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton’s Office, Make-A-Wish America and Visit Phoenix. She also served as the public relations director for the University’s undergraduate student government.
As a true believer in the power of words, Harrelson is passionate about combining her communication skills and love of public service as a practitioner in the nonprofit sector.
