The referral process starts at the school where the child is currently enrolled and no change in placement can be made without the SELPA and an active IEP that designates a Non-Public School as the least restrictive environment where the student can be successful. In order to make an informed decision, parents, guardians and caregivers are encouraged to research the programs where their child might be placed. We would love to talk to you about your child’s special needs so that you can effectively advocate for your child as we go through the enrollment process with the SELPA.
